It reminds you what is important and helps put your priorities in perspective. This book first reminds you that what is important is your personal contentment, and how to live with what you have. It advises toward humility, self-respect, and personal obligations.Save for an emergency, don't get caught with huge credit card bills, no savings, and deep in debt. It advises you how to quit spending, look toward the most important priority; you pray to GOD about the bad times, why would you not pray about your money. You turn your life over to GOD for guidance and teaching, why not your money and sharing the blessings He has granted to you. This book gave me a new outlook on managing my money that no other book or blog on the internet has ever given. This is a great book to learn, study, and ponder a deeper connection with GOD from a point of view that very few actually advise. I know the bible says give everything you have to GOD, lose your life to Jesus, but I have never seen it written from a financial perspective that is so direct and simple.

Bob Lotich has written a great 31-Day Devotional for managing money. He covers many different topics from emergency funds, tithing, giving and setting goals to list a few. He tells readers it is not money you are truly after and that true satisfaction comes from God not money. One of my favorite chapters is the one on goal setting and the importance to list goals that appear unattainable in your eyes.This is a great book for college students on up. It is a great book for learning how to think about money and what its role should be in your life. Also a great reminder for older people also. It is easy to get off track in your thinking about money and this serves as a great plumbline.

This devotional book was not only refreshing and practical to read but the author was transparent as well which I appreciated.It is a book that would be helpful for the young college student as well as the mature believer. No matter what level you are at Its a great read for every believer. The devotional has scripture for reference points and is personally challenging as well. You can reread it at different times and get refreshed every time.I recommend this devotional to anyone interested in managing the finances that the Lord has entrusted to them!
I want to say this book was an earth shaker, but it wasn't. It didn't change my life in 30 days as it promised. It brought the biblical view of money to light and that was good. But it didn't change my life. It was more of a review of bible verses on money.
