Bramble and Maggie books are some of my students' very favorites. I have one student who asks me "Are there more yet?" regularly. They are sweet and the illustrations are lovely. This series is so much better than the usual easy readers and I should know as a reading tutor I read easy readers with my students all day, every day!
My 7 year old niece loved all three books I purchased for her. Her first chapter books were well-received.
